As a little girl, my parents told me how much they loved me and how I could be and do anything I wanted in this world! So, I started out happy and brave, but realized pretty quickly that everything else in society told me I was too much. If I wanted to fit in, I needed to make myself small; to take up less space. Smile, be a nice little girl and everything will be fine.

It was at first, but eventually, just “fitting in” wasn’t enough – I wanted MORE. More happiness, more life, more joy, more of who I was meant to be in this world. Taking that step towards the MORE was the bravest and scariest thing I have ever done and I would never go back.

I now know that each one of us is a beautiful and unique creation! Life is about peeling back the layers of who we were told to be and exploring who we were created to be in the first place. The Sacred is always with us and is most often found in the simplest things, if we are willing to pay attention. Now I seek to live a creative and spiritual life in the midst of the everyday.

My focus is on embracing what comes my way and making choices from a place of  love and not fear, while helping others do the same.
